Tropicana Field

Bag Policy

• Tropicana Field enforces a strict clear-bag policy. One clear bag per person (plastic, vinyl, or PVC) no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”. Non-clear bags/wallets/fanny packs are allowed only if they are 5” x 7” or smaller.
• Backpacks, luggage, computer bags, and any non-transparent bag larger than 5" x 7". There are no storage lockers available for non-compliant bags.
• Diaper bags (if a baby is present, max 16” x 8” x 16”) and bags for medical equipment.

Gate/seating info

• Shaded seats Climate-controlled dome. It is always 72 degrees inside, so a light jacket might be needed.
• Gates open Mon–Fri Games; 90 minutes before first pitch. Sat–Sun & Opening Day; 2 hours before first pitch.
• Accessibility info Parking located in Lots 1 and 7 (van accessible). ADA drop-off is available on Tropicana Drive (access via 16th Street). All gates are wheelchair accessible; elevators are located at Gates 1, 2, 4, and 6. The Baseball Looper Trolley is wheelchair-lift equipped and free to ride.

Parking

• Lots Highly recommended as lots often sell out. Can be purchased for Lots 1, 2, 5, 6, and 7 via RaysBaseball.com/Parking.
• Ride-Share (Uber/Lyft) Gate 1 access; Use Lot 8. Gates 4 & 5 access; Use Tropicana Drive (off 16th Street).
• Tailgating While the guide mentions parking rules, it does not specifically permit or detail tailgating activities; however, it notes that RVs/campers must pay double the rate and cannot park overnight.

Food and Drink

• Soda Coca-Cola products
• Water One sealed plastic bottle of water (20 oz or less) per fan is allowed. Empty plastic reusable bottles or cups are permitted and can be filled at stadium hydration stations. Metal, glass, and ceramic containers are prohibited. Outside Food/Drink is not permitted inside the stadium.

Insider tips

• For optimal viewing, sit in the 100 or 200 sections behind the home dugout.
• Stingray Tank; Located in right-center field, this allows fans to touch live rays for free during the game.
• Visit the Budweiser Porch in center field for a social atmosphere or the Ballpark & Rec area for games like shuffleboard. Try the loaded cheese steak nachos or cuban sandwiches.
• Consider using Gate 4 for quick access to the center field area.
• Fergs Sports Bar is located right next to the stadium and offers a lively atmosphere with a direct tunnel to the stadium.
• Check out the Ted Williams Museum & Hitters Hall of Fame near Gate 1.
• Kids can enjoy the Raymond’s Treehouse and run the bases after Sunday home games.
• Batted balls can hit the roof and catwalks; if a ball hits the C or D rings, it's an automatic home run.
