Petco Park

Bag Policy

• Permitted items include Single-compartment clear plastic bags (max 12” x 6” x 12”), infant bags, and medical bags. Non-clear clutches and purses are allowed only if they are 5” x 7” or smaller.
• If your bag exceeds these limits, "Lock & Go" lockers are available for a flat fee (approx. $14) at various gate locations.

Gate/seating info

• Gates open All gates typically open 90 minutes before the first pitch. Season Ticket Members can enter 2 hours early through the Park Blvd and Home Plate gates.
• Accessibility info Petco Park is fully ADA-compliant. This includes accessible seating, elevators, and "Guest Service Centers" for assistance. Service animals (dogs or miniature horses) are welcome; emotional support animals are not.

Parking

• Ride-Share (Uber/Lyft) Drop-offs and pick-ups generally occur in designated zones around the ballpark, often along 10th Avenue and J Street or near the Home Plate Gate.
• Tailgating Tailgating is only permitted in the Tailgate Park lot. It begins 3 hours before first pitch and must end 30 minutes after the game starts. Only gas grills are allowed (no charcoal).
• Mass Transit Taking the San Diego Trolley (Green, Blue, or Orange lines) is the most recommended way to avoid traffic, with stops right at the stadium's doorstep.

Food and Drink

• Soda Coca-Cola products
• Water You may bring one factory-sealed plastic water bottle (still, clear, and unflavored) that is 1 liter (32 oz) or less. Reusable water stations are located throughout the concourse.

Insider tips

• Right Field/Foul Pole; Excellent field-level views often cheaper than home plate, with high potential to catch home runs.
• Toyota Terrace; Premium, comfortable seats with great views.
• Must-Try Items; Cardiff Crack Nachos, Hodad’s Burgers, and Banana Pudding.
• Western Metal Supply Building; Unique, historic, and close-up views from the bar area.
• Must-See; The Tony Gwynn and Trevor Hoffman statues in Gallagher Square
• Take the Trolley to Gaslamp Quarter or 12th & Imperial stations.
• Gallagher Square; Ideal for families and kids to run around.
