Fenway Park

Bag Policy

• Fans are encouraged to go bagless. If you must bring one, it must be a single-compartment bag no larger than 12" x 12" x 6".
• Prohibited items include Backpacks, multi-compartment bags, duffel bags, and hard-sided coolers. Exceptions include Diaper bags and bags containing essential medical equipment.
• If you bring a non-permitted bag, a third-party locker truck is typically available for a fee on top of the Lansdowne Garage (near Gate E).

Gate/seating info

• Gates open Gates generally open 90 minutes prior to the scheduled game time. Red Sox Nation members may have earlier access (usually 2.5 hours before) through Gate C.
• Accessibility info All gates are handicap-accessible. Gate D features three elevators, while Gates B and E have one each. Grandstand wheelchair ticket holders are advised to enter through Gate D or E.

Parking

• Lots Fenway has very limited official parking. The team recommends using independent lots/garages in the area (like the 100 Clarendon Street Garage or the Prudential Center Garage) or taking the MBTA "T" (Green Line to Kenmore).
• Ride-Share (Uber/Lyft) The designated areas for pick-up and drop-off are Gate B (Corner of Van Ness St and Ipswich St) and Gate D (Corner of Van Ness St and Jersey St).
• Tailgating Tailgating is not permitted in the parking lots surrounding Fenway Park due to city regulations and space constraints.

Food and Drink

• Water You may bring in one sealed 16oz plastic bottle of water per person. It must be clear and unflavored. Cans, glass bottles, and alcoholic beverages from outside the park are strictly forbidden.

Insider tips

• Maximize your Fenway Park experience by arriving 90 minutes early to explore, taking the Green Line (Kenmore stop) to avoid parking, and sitting on the third-base side (sections 14-27) for shade during day games. Key, often missed spots include the rooftop deck, the manual scoreboard, and the Bleacher Bar on Lansdowne Street.
• For Best Views & Seats, Aim for the Loge Box (112-124) for great sightlines, or the Green Monster seats (M1-M10) for a unique experience. Avoid poles by checking views in Grandstand sections 11-33.
• Enjoy a Fenway Frank, but also try the food at Time Out Market or the historic Cask 'n Flagon.
• Bring a small, sealed soft cooler for non-alcoholic drinks. Buy game tickets through the Red Sox website for best value, though third-party sites are safe.
• Must-Do Activities include Visit Pesky’s Pole, find Ted Williams’ Red Seat in the bleachers, and walk the Yawkey Way/Jersey Street concourse.
• For the best experience, visit the Bleacher Bar on Lansdowne Street, which features a window looking directly onto the field.
